Our client, an SME located in the Saint-Hyacinthe area since 2004, specializes in the treatment and management of residual materials coming from the food production industry. The development of a new technology is leading to a major investment of $ 25 million, which will allow the addition of two new units destined for the treatment and transformation of residues for agricultural purposes and the transformation of solid matter into bio-oils, animal powder and organic fertilizers.
Reporting directly to the CEO, the Director will be responsible for the planning and development of all operations. Ranging from the choice and installation of equipment, process development, management of wastewater treatment and production operations, maintenance, to the supervision of a team of 6 operators. In particular, employee supervision aims at efficiency through rigor and standardization of methodologies while promoting health and safety in the workplace.
The environment is entrepreneurial in a “start-up” context that requires the expertise of a manager who is not afraid to get his hands dirty and close to the operations on a daily basis. You are a graduated engineer, member of the OIQ and have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the field of wastewater treatment or in the sector of the bioprocesses or in a related industry.
